About

Imagine a nation where children of all races, languages and creeds are maximizing their potential, enjoying a good quality of life, belong to healthy families that care about them, are economically stable, filled with knowledge and opportunity and belong to a nation that protects and believes in their future. That is the nation that the 2016 National Latino Children’s Summit is working to build for young Latinos and all children.

The National Latino Children’s Summit is convened in partnership with diverse national and local organizations every election year to discuss the state of young Latinos and children in our nation. This is the third Summit held in Phoenix, Arizona and it is designed to encourage advocacy for the well-being of children by bringing 400 participants, including 100 child serving organizations and 100 Latino youth leaders to promote positive change for the future.
